Which ride in Orlando has the longest line? We ranked every ride we track at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe using BTQ's recorded wait times from October 2025 through September 2026.
The top of the list is not close. Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Islands of Adventure averages 144 minutes during the day, and two Epic Universe rides follow: Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry at 135 and Mine-Cart Madness at 131. The longest line at any Disney World park, Test Track, averages 80 minutes.
The 10 longest waits in Orlando
Rides are listed from longest to shortest. Each figure is the ride's average posted standby wait between 9am and 5pm park time, across every hour it was operating.

The four longest lines in Orlando are all at Universal, and three of them are at Epic Universe. Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, in fourth, still averages 15 minutes more than anything at Disney World.
The Disney rides are bunched together. Only 13 minutes separate Test Track in fifth from TRON Lightcycle / Run in tenth, and two of those gaps are ties: Test Track and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind are level at 80 minutes, as are Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and TRON Lightcycle / Run at 67.
Rides that ran for less than half the year are left out of the ranking, because a ride open for a fortnight should not be able to outrank one that ran every day. Most of what that removes is Halloween Horror Nights houses at Universal Studios Florida, which ran for a few weeks in September. It also removes three rides that reopened partway through the year, among them Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, which BTQ has recorded only since 26 May 2026. Over that stretch it averaged 59 minutes during the day, which would not have reached the top 10.

Universal Studios Florida is the exception at Universal. Its longest line, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, averages 55 minutes, shorter than the longest line at every Disney World park.
When the Universal headliners are shortest
The averages above cover the middle of the day. Hour by hour, the same lines look very different.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts runs the other way from the Epic Universe rides. It is shortest in the morning, 33 minutes at 9am, and peaks at 66 minutes across the 3pm and 4pm hours.
Jurassic World VelociCoaster, shown here for comparison, is the flattest of the six: it sits between 63 and 70 minutes from 11am right through to 7pm.
When the Disney headliners are shortest
Two of Disney's longest lines get longer as the day goes on. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind climbs from 76 minutes in the 1pm hour to 92 minutes at 7pm. TRON Lightcycle / Run is shortest at 9am, 63 minutes, and peaks at 84 minutes in the 6pm hour. Saving either one for the evening costs you time.
The Hollywood Studios rides do the opposite. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance falls to 41 minutes in the 9pm hour, well under its 67-minute peak late morning. Slinky Dog Dash reaches 41 minutes at 9pm.
The 8am hour, before the chart starts, is shorter still at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. In that hour Test Track averages 37 minutes, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance 46, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind 54 and Slinky Dog Dash 61.

What this means for your trip
Budget the most time for Islands of Adventure and Epic Universe. Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry and Mine-Cart Madness each average more than two hours in line during the day.
Ride Mine-Cart Madness early and Battle at the Ministry late. Mine-Cart Madness averages 80 minutes at 9am and more than 100 from 10am until 8pm. Battle at the Ministry falls to 63 minutes by 8pm, and Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge to 37.
Don't rope drop Hagrid's expecting a short line. Its 9am average of 163 minutes is its worst hour, and it never drops below 113. There is no good hour, only a least bad one late in the evening.
Ride Guardians of the Galaxy and TRON before the evening. Both are longer at 6pm and 7pm than at any point in the morning.
Save Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Slinky Dog Dash for the last hours. Both fall to about 41 minutes by 9pm.
